The Phoenix Drama Group, a community drama group, run by volunteers with a special focus on adults with learning disabilities. We need a musician (guitarist or keyboard player possibly) to accompany us with the songs for our next play at the Spotlight Theatre in April 2010. We rehearse Monday evenings 7pm to 9pm at Applegarth Court. It is a super group and we have lots of fun. Would anyone with the necessary skills be willing to help? Youth Church
At the beginning of September in the Key Centre the Christ Church Youth Service was birthed. In the 2 months it has been running we have seen God's presence fall gently but with power. The result has been an encountering of God by both the young people and the team. There have been prayers of healing from kids as young as 10 and many commitments to Christ.
In a recent service we saw young people committing themselves to pray regularly as well as making offerings of there lives, hearts and time.
In the middle of one service the holy Spirit came like gentle rain with many moved dramatically by the reality of the presence of God.
The youth service has also birthed the new youth band and it is really exciting to see this group of young people growing not just as musicians but as worshipers. They have helped lead us into some very powerful times of worship.
The youth team have been encouraged by what God is doing and would ask that you would continue to pray that the kingdom of God comes to the youth of this town!

Midweek Service
Are you in need of a touch from God? Do you need to come into a place of greater intimacy in his presence? Are you hungry? Thirsty? needing refreshment or a time of praise and worship during the week?
Then why not get under the waterfall of Gods presence and join us at the Christ church mid week service, Tuesday nights at 7.30 pm in church.
